“Don’t adventures ever have an end? I suppose not. Someone else always has to carry on the story.”
The text inside Lord of the Pins comes from page 226 of The Fellowship Of The Ring. The dialogue is spoken by Bilbo after seeing the One Ring again when he and Frodo reunite in Rivendell (the famous scary "Nnngah!" bit in the film).
He tells Frodo: "put it away! I am sorry: sorry you have come in for this burden: sorry about everything. Don't adventures ever have an end? I suppose not. Someone else always has to carry on the story."
A deluxe hinged pin celebrating The Lord of the Rings. It was forged in the fires of Mount Doom so can't be destroyed by conventional fire (we don't recommend testing that, though), and measures just over an inch high, making it easy to carry stories with you.
Beautifully crafted hinged enamel pin with gold plating. 100% free of Galadriel hair. The inside quote is printed in the very lovely Plantin Light font.
